I contacted Stepmom Magazine about being their cover girl for July. Though they didn’t choose me for that, they did ask me to write a story for their monthly feature, “Real Stepmoms. Real Stories”, I was honored to be asked to write for them. Actually writing for that feature was already on my “To Do” list. I was planning to approach them about doing just that since my book is full of real stories from real stepmoms. I felt it was a perfect fit. They said they wanted me to write for that feature this month because their cover girl is also an amputee who is a television personality. They thought we would be a perfect match. I’d have to agree, even though I’m not technically an amputee- I was born without my left arm. In any case, I’m just thrilled to be in the magazine that is a great resource for stepmoms.
